We slept a little later and had breakfast on our own Sunday morning. We got to Tommy and Grig’s about half past nine and got a little internet time in before we headed to Home Depot with them for paint for a furniture project. The piece will go in their booth at the Rare Bird Antique Mall, where they have quite a variety of items as you can see in this photo. They make enough for their booth rental and then some.
After a lunch at Krystal we went home for a few hours as the guys were going to make us supper but plans were changed to ordering pizza when Grig’s #2 son, Avery, decided to stop by and see us. Avery is 19 and living in a house with a couple of his friends, who he brought along for pizza. All three young men are working and trying to make a go of it on their own. Good for them.
They hung around to watch “The Amazing Race” with us. Then we said our good-byes and went home and to bed as we were to be on the road in the morning.
